Ecology Partners WWF

WWF’s mission is to stop the degradation of the planet’s natural environment and to build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature, by:
• conserving the world’s biological diversity
• ensuring that the use of renewable natural resources is sustainable
• promoting the reduction of pollution and wasteful consumption.

WWF’s unique way of working combines global reach with a foundation in science, involves action at every level from local to global, and ensures the delivery of innovative solutions that meet the needs of both people and nature.

WWF, with its offices in Zambia and The Netherlands, is DOB Ecology’s partner in working towards a resilient Zambezi river for the benefit of people and nature.
Within Zambia, WWF is strategically focusing on conserving critical places and critical species that are particularly important for the conservation of Zambia’s rich biodiversity. The first priority is to ensure that biodiversity in Zambia which is part of the earth’s web of life stays healthy and is sustained for current and future generations.
Secondly, WWF focuses its efforts to reduce negative impacts of human activity – our ecological footprint and is working to ensure that the natural resources required for life – Land, water, forests, wildlife and air are managed sustainably and equitably.
